Speed

No am not talking about the Keanu Reaves movie, its about a train. According to this article, Transrapid international, a German company has developed the world's fastest maglev train which attains a top speed of 501 km/h. The test was done in none other than our neighbouring rival economy, the mainland China. I hope someone from the Indian Railways is aware of this news :D.
On the other hand it is rumoured that a railway tunnel will be constructed between New York and London under the ocean bed by 2020. No clue as to the name of the company or whether its backed by the two governments. Is it a big deal ??? It is, cos trains in this tunnel will travel at speeds of 1000 mph.
